              Traditional Jazz with   “Dick Van Gorder's Port City Five” with Dick playing reeds, Duke Ladd on keyboards, Jack Pindell- horns, and Dave Waylett- drums. 

              Contemporary “Lee Venters & Vermillion Sands” with Kevin Kolb on keyboards, Terry Burgh on flute and reeds and Taylor Lee on bass.

Jeff Simmons conducting and performing with “The Cape Fear Community College Jazz Orchestra” with traditional big band swing to contemporary styles.
